Emotions run high in 13 year-old Lior’s home. In a few minutes, she will be leaving for the hospital where she will undergo an operation to close up a hole in her heart.
Lior is trying to look calm and only breaks down when she is taken away to the operating room on a gurney. The operation drags on as the worried
family waits outside for it to be over.
Several weeks have passed and Mendy still hasn’t regained consciousness after sustaining a severe head injury in a traffic accident. His mother sits
by his side the whole time and talks to him. At the same time, his father, Yisrael, is dealing with bureaucracy in an attempt to receive help to support his family.
Ilana’s surgery was a success except for one thing. Her left hand isn’t functioning properly and it is feared she may never be able to play the piano again.
